In gig news, Tony took on the role of Dr. Frank N. Furter--Transylvania's "sweetest transvestite" in a concert version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show which took place at the Pioneer Theatre, Salt lake City this past October.  He gave a fabulous and flamboyant performance of the mad scientist wearing fish net stockings and 4 1/2" heels!  Thankfully, no bones were broken during the three performances and he went down a storm with the audience and press!  Broadway World, in their review of the show, said "The company scored a major coup to cast Tony Vincent as Dr. Frank N. Furter, who was transported from the planet Transsexual in the Transylvanian galaxy. The breakout star from "The Voice" has played lead Broadway roles in epic rock musicals - including Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and St. Jimmy in "Green Day's American Idiot" - and is one sweet transvestite. He has a commanding stage presence and a colorful rock 'n' roll powerhouse voice to make even the throwaway "Planet Schmanet" memorable. Vincent brings flamboyant menace and an appealing snarl to the role."  Here's some photos and video from the show.  Photo Credit: Brent Uberty.

Tony is in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the moment.  Three nights ago (Dec 7) he performed a one-off gig with the talented students of Broadway Street.  He sang "High And Dry" and "Creep" by Radiohead, and Pink Floyd's anthemic tune "Another Brick In The Wall."  Hopefully we'll get to see some images or video of these performances soon.

Tony will be hitting the stage next in Philadelphia on New Year's Day!  So, if you're in the locality, then head to The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts for the annual Philadelphia Mummers Parade where you'll not only see Tony rockin' the stage, but also the students from the Broadway Dreams Foundation will be performing hits from Annie The Musical, Motown the Musical, Kinky Boots on Broadway, Cinderella the Musical, Newsies, and Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage.  The day will also feature activities for kids, face painters, balloon artists and more!

Also, in 2015, (March / April), Tony is set to star in a show which he has been involved with developing for a couple of years.  "The 12", a rock musical--takes one of the most well known stories in history and explores one of the least known and most intriguing aspects of it: how twelve ordinary individuals torn apart by the unthinkable death of their leader came together to create one of the most powerful movements ever known to mankind.  With Tony starring in it, and an original, authentic classic rock music score created by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan (All the Way, The Kentucky Cycle) and award-winning composer Neil Berg (Grumpy Old Men, Prince and the Pauper), it's bound to be EPIC!  Check out events for more info on both these upcoming performances!

Things are changing and growing over on with the addition of lots of things at the moment--from audio interviews, video interviews, press articles, photos, to Tony's ENTIRE newsletter archive dating back to 1997!  --yeah, I know, crazy!  It's a mammoth task, and it's going to take a bit of time to add them all, but there are some great "reads" amongst them --interesting, thought provoking and articulate newsletters from Tony's past with messages as relevant now, as they were back then.  I'll share them with you soon.  Talking of newsletters, if you haven't read Tony's latest newsletter, then check it out here and be sure to sign up to hear his future news first (for FREE) directly to your email inbox!

Sending each of you my very best wishes and thanks for supporting TTV through another year.  Please keep spreading the word and I look forward to seeing you all at a TV gig somewhere in 2015!
